Choir Notes for In-Choir-ing Minds

We are not a choir without your voices.

The Lenten Season is coming up quickly.  We will have music to sing that we haven’t sung since last year.  In order to enhance the liturgical services of our church, we will need to reacquaint ourselves with our music.  The most effective way for us to do this is through practice.  With this in mind, we will begin holding choir practice after liturgy.  Please spend time together with our brothers and sisters at coffee hour.  Take 15 to 20 minutes and then return to the choir area for a short practice.  My intention is to spend only 10 to 20 minutes going over music that we will need in the near future.  A small investment of time will yield results that we can be proud of.

In order to make this flow easier, please put the choir music/books away following each service.  If everyone cleans up after services, it will save a great deal of time when switching from services to practice and vice versa.
